Brazilian Tile Photos - Photos of Tiles in Brazil
Lush. Bright. Bold. Brazil is awash in color and flavor, from the Amazon's jungles to the urban scene of São Paulo. The cement tiles that line floors and walls around the city do much to add to that visual bonanza. Known as ladrilhos hidráulicos, Brazil's cement tiles were first manufactuered by small factories scattered around the country. The industry has shrunk over the decades but the passion for vivid cement tiles remains in Brazil.
Whether you're in Brazil for Carnival or another time, be sure to check out the cement tiles around the country. Take photos and be sure to share them with us.
