Spanish Tile Photos - Photos of Tiles in Spain
Some accounts suggest that the world's first cement tiles came from Spain. (The French beg to differ.) Regardless of its origins, one look around Spain today, and you'll see that cement tile quickly became a go-to material. Motifs ranged from those adapted from Middle Eastern designs to ones that feature a distinctly Spanish take on the Art Nouveau.
Should you happen to be in Spain, be sure to take photos of cement tiles to share with us. We love to see them.
