Breaking News: Fez Steals the Show

Last week, we shared a great bathroom incorporating several Granada Tile designs, and today we’ve got another great bathroom to show you. This time around, it illustrates just how beautifully effective just one of our cement tile designs is at transforming a space. For this bathroom project, Edward Solis used our old friend Fez-928B from our flagship Echo Collection. (There’s a reason why this is our signature tile design and one of our most popular–it’s versatile, graphic and bold. Let’s face it: this particular concrete tile design is something of a chameleon in the ways it can fit in to pretty much any space.) As with all of our clients, of course, he came up with a distinct way of featuring Fez  in his bathroom tile installation.

Solis chose to install Fez in the custom color palette of black and white as wall tiles on  behind the tub and shower and on the entire bathroom floor. Against the light blue walls, it’s an outstanding choice for bathroom tile. There’s a unity and seamlessness to the look, especially on closer inspection when you discover that an inset has been tiled too.

Combining Fez floor tiles and wall tiles with plumbing fixtures that have an Art Deco-ish profile, Solis created a space that has a vintage flavor but still feels very contemporary. It’s personal, lovely and unique.
